How-do-you-do Sethusk -

I can't replicate that here.

Using PDR14's standard H.264 AVC MP4 640x480/30p (6Mbps) profile, I produced a curt video & uploaded to YouTube & Google Drive. Both display correctly.

Comparing your MediaInfo report with mine, at that place's an oddity. Yours states:

  • Width : 640 pixels

  • Height : 480 pixels

  • Display aspect ratio : -0.123

  • Original brandish aspect ratio : 16:ix

... where mine just states that the Display Aspect Ratio is 16:ix. MediaInfo attached.

Did you customise the profile in any fashion?

Cheers - Tony

Cheers for your reply Tony,

No, I didn't customize the video. It's a presentation made up of other videos from dissimilar charitable groups so I compiled the different videos I was sent and and so added transitions and some slides/music. When I added some of the clips it did tell me there was an effect with the frame rate alien and whether it was okay to continue. I'm guessing this is what did it.

Thanks for the info. I don't call up a frame rate conflict would have caused the issue of a double-flipped brandish! surprised

When you playback the produced video on your PC, does information technology display correctly? Could yous post some screenshots or links to the videos that might provide some clues?

Cheers - Tony

I accept zip, zilch & zilch idea what'southward going on there.

I downloaded your screen capture from YouTube & dropped information technology in a PDR14 project (yes it was double flipped). After correcting it, I produced to MP4 640x480 (same as earlier) and uploaded information technology to YouTube... which displays it correctly!

Try this:

  1. New project

  2. Import & insert the sample clip "Kite Surfing.wmv"

  3. Produce to H.264 AVC MP4 640x480/30p (6Mbps)

  4. Upload to YouTube

Cheers - Tony

Then, I decided to tinker with the Kite Surfing sample since it's easy to test with. I went into the frame charge per unit of my "MPEG-4 640 10 480/30p (six Mbps) and looked at the details, under "Frame Rate" information technology shows 29.97 instead of 30. It'south the only thing I can recall of that seems off and I always get that frame rate warning when importing video. I decided to try a custom profile off of the "MPEG-4 640 x 480/30p (6 Mbps)" contour, but decided to get in and change the frame rate to a flat 30fps and this is the issue:

https://youtu.be/W5OVjRJVuNs

Information technology stock-still information technology! No inkling why or how my default profile would be messed upwards if I didn't go into information technology, but the custom one works so I'one thousand going to take it. I never would have messed with it or figured information technology out without your suggestions Tony. Thanks and so much!! I'thousand going to try to return the other videos with the custom profile and see if that fixes it. I'll postal service back with the results. It'll baffle me to be honest because I don't run into why the frame rate being ever so slightly off would crusade this, but I'm guessing information technology may be something on Google/Youtube'due south end of things.

Hullo once more Sethusk -

What you've shown completely defies logic. A simple change of frame rate would not (should not) produce such a completely different YouTube brandish.

I just replicated exactly what you've done, but could non replicate your consequence.

Hither is Kite Surfing produced at MPEG-four 640 x 480/30p (6 Mbps) - 29.97fps & here is produced at MPEG-4 640 x 480/30p (6 Mbps) - 30fps Both display correctly.

In the side-by-side MediaInfo reports attached, you'll see the only pregnant differences are frame rate & elapsing (related).

Anyway, if you've found something that works, that's great... but at that place's something else going on there.

Thanks - Tony

Sethusk - Can I just ask something I'm not sure about. In your commencement postal service, the mediainfo study that you posted, that was for the video that you had edited and produced was information technology? Or was it the info for your source textile? That "Display aspect ratio : -0.123" must prevarication at the bottom of the problem.

What sort of graphics card/monitor have you got? You haven't past whatsoever chance inverse the orientation of your display have you? I used to support colleagues who all used laptops which were very often continued to projectors. The display drivers were capable of both rotating and mirroring the brandish when used on projectors and sometimes got really messed upwards.

What sort of graphics carte du jour/monitor accept you lot got? Y'all haven't by whatever chance changed the orientation of your display accept you? I used to back up colleagues who all used laptops which were very oft connected to projectors. The brandish drivers were capable of both rotating and mirroring the brandish when used on projectors and sometimes got really messed up.

That was for the produced video. I didn't check the Mediainfo for any of the source videos but they were all uploaded at one betoken to Google Bulldoze and didn't have the display effect.

I have a dual monitor setup with an Nvidia GTX 970. I don't believe I've always changed the orientation of the displays but information technology may have been possible. I concur that the negative display ratio is the only thing that stands out to me as well. The problem is that daily motility and vimeo seem to correct information technology or handle it and simply google/youtube cause the flipping.

My Nvidia control panel shows that it is in Landscape setting with no rotation.

I'g non sure to check for anything else, but at the aforementioned time I don't know how to change the "Brandish aspect ratio" in either Power Director xiv or my Nvidia settings.

That makes interesting reading and would imply that the error lies with the container and hence may not happen if the project were produced to say .wmv. It's something worth trying I would remember.

I accept the exact same problem shared here by Sethusk. The video looks fine in Ability Managing director, only when I upload information technology to Google Drive or Photos information technology is backwards and upside down. I practise ordinarily have this laptop computer hooked up to 2 monitors at the office, so I don't know if that has anything to practise with it.

Hey, Everyone.

I signed up simply and then I could leave this message, even though it's years after this topic was started.

I had the same trouble as Sethusk and cgrush22 and I fixed it past doing what Sethusk did i.eastward. I created a profile with a frame rate of 30 fps (the default was gear up at 29.97 fps). Once I did this, I uploaded the video with no problem. No inverted video anymore!

I have no idea why the frame rate would cause this to happen just... cheers, Sethusk, for solving such a weird trouble!
